Ingredients
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 1/2 ounces chocolate chips
Instructions
- Butter a 9×9-inch square pan.
- Spread pecans evenly in the bottom of the pan.
- In a saucepan, heat sugar and butter over medium heat, stirring constantly until it boils. Continue boiling for 7 minutes.
- Immediately pour the hot mixture evenly over the pecans.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and cover the pan with foil to trap the heat. Allow the chocolate to melt.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the top with a spatula.
- Cut into squares while still warm.
- Chill until firm, then enjoy!
