Scholarship and grant funding can be a fraught discussion for any college or university. How do you find a compelling way to ask donors for money, without telling a sob story? Our solution was this: tell the story of investment through the successes and ambitions of the students who receive those funds. Over the course of a whirlwind two-day shoot, we profiled four students from varied backgrounds, each of whom explained what scholarships and grants had meant to their study. When paired with a heartfelt and inspirational interview from leadership, the result was a finished piece that told the brand story of Philadelphia University — laser focused on and custom tailored for the donor audience.
