Moore College of Art & Design
Located along Philadelphia’s culturally rich museum mile, Moore College of Art & Design also occupies a unique space within the art school landscape. Founded in 1848, Moore is the first and only historically visual arts college for women in the nation. What’s even more notable is that their founding principle of empowering women by developing their artistic ability and leadership capacity still holds true.

A new identity with intersectionality at the core.
Your logo is more than just the institution’s handshake. It’s a conduit between your audience and your brand. It should inspire confidence, extend a warm welcome, and hopefully say a little something about who you are. If it doesn’t, it’s probably time for a redesign—like the one we did for Moore College of Art & Design. This is how we did it.
Intersectionality is at the core of the Moore brand. The interactions between teacher and student. The relationship between city and campus. The combination of creative passion and professional success. Through the use of overlapping colors, mashup headlines, and a dynamic identity system, we gave executional voice to the Moore mission.
Moore’s new logo was called out as one of the top design trends to watch for in 2021 by HubSpot.
Our media campaign had dual objectives: Rolling out the rebrand of Moore and driving virtual visits for enrollment. 25 outdoor boards across 7 counties garnered 48 million impressions and over 7 million digital impressions. The campaign generated click through rates significantly above industry averages.
